The cabin is located in the Northern extremity of the Paring Mountain, in the vicinity of the glacier string which creates an alpine landscape of an outstanding beauty. The access to the cabin can be made from the national road 7A, starting from Petrosani (18 km) or from Voineasa (65 km).
The cabin provides accommodation for 45 people, in rooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds. It has its own water supply and 5 bathrooms with hot water. There are also 2 high comfort apartments.
The illumination is provided by a power generator, the schedule for that being between sunset and hour. In order to provide good conditions,starting witn 1st of January 2008, only the tourists staying in our cabin has access here. Between 1st of November and 1st of April the cabin is closed.
Nature lovers have 7 routes that start from the cabin and which take only one day, suitable both for experienced hikers but also for those that only want to enjoy the beauty of the landscape of fresh alpine air. The main routs lead to the Rosiile Lake, the Paringul Mare Peak, the Verzi Lakes, the Mija Peak, the Capra Peak, the glacier complex near the Gauri Lake.
For those that plan to be our guests for a longer period, we can organize trips to the Western part of the Jiu Valley, to the Retezat Mountain, to the upper part of the River Lotru, to the legendary Hateg Country or to the cultural and monastic objectives in the Northern Oltenia. . The price for accommodation for a single person for 1 day is 40 Ron and 35 Ron for 2 days. Kids under 6 years old can be accommodated for free, without having provided another bed.
The accommodation day starts at 14.00 hours and ends at 12.00 the next day.No pets are allowed in the cabin.
